Problems to Solve
1. How might we explain in simple terms what Signos does, and how it works?

2. What is glucose and why should people care?

3. How can we present factual, research-supported information to users that strikes a balance between accelerated conversions and gaining users' trust?
UX Writing
My role: Write app, push notification, activity, and explainer copy. Help test copy with app users and iterate based on their feedback. Ensure voice and tone are aligned with the Signos style guide & content philosophy.

Results: Established a connected, consistent user experience across the content ecosystem to distinguish the brand and allow the user to build trust in it. Rooted the educational content in science-backed research to encourage the user to contextualize their health data as an n=1 self-experiment. Simplified text in user task flows for faster, better understanding and increased user activity completions.
Style Guide & Content Philosophy
My role: Content designer and director, writer, user researcher

Problem to solve: How do we establish a definitive brand identity in a noisy niche (wellness, weight loss, health-tech) that's supported by scientific research and Signos users' data trends in order to guide every word choice and editorial judgment that shapes our voice?

My design process: User research and interviews; stakeholder interviews and workshop sessions; interviews and copy evaluations with Signos' medical director, registered dietitians and nutritionists; iterative copy sprints.

Product and user interface design by Reed Van Rozeboom. Graphic and site design by Benji Michalek. Copy and design property of Signos.
